Pestilence is a 2026 first-person psychological horror game developed and published by Kooky Studios, an independent horror game studio. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5.8.
In 2001, your daughter rang you from a payphone and never came home. Two years later, to the day, the man who took her is locked in the cell you built. Get the power back. Search your computer. Play back your tapes. Tonight you get his confession.

The bunker
The power is off.
- Start with a candle. Find a torch later.
- Refuel the generator and pull the switch to get the power back.
- Find the valve wheels, fit them and turn them.
Your computer
Everything you found in two years is on your computer.
- Read the files and the notes. Search the records.
- Play back the tapes you recorded while you looked for her.
- Pin the photos to the map.
- Pick up papers, photos and her MISSING poster. Read them again whenever you want.

Haunted by your past
You see her around the bunker. She doesn’t speak.
The cell
The man in the cell doesn’t know who you are. He says you’ve got the wrong guy. Tonight you ask him about her.
Pestilence (2026) is available to purchase on Steam here.
