Black Mandala presents: TABULA RASA (2025)
Black Mandala proudly presents TABULA RASA, a gripping psychological thriller directed by Juanfer Andrés and Esteban Roel. Fueled by relentless tension and unexpected twists, the film delves into the darkest recesses of the human psyche, blurring the fragile boundary between reality and madness.
Leo and her husband, Julio, host an intimate family gathering with Leo’s sister, Claudia, Claudia’s partner, Héctor, and their newborn son, Izan. What begins as a quiet celebration spirals into terror when Claudia discovers that Izan—and his nanny, Luciana—have vanished without a trace. The sudden disappearance reignites Leo’s buried psychiatric trauma, pulling her into a psychological descent where perception and reality fracture.

As long-suppressed family conflicts resurface, Leo is forced to confront the truth about her relationships, her past, and ultimately her own identity. TABULA RASA is a haunting exploration of memory, guilt, and the terrifying consequences of a mind pushed beyond its limits.
